Our founder
Red Medtech is a Welsh company founded by Professor Laurie Rowe in 2021, building on over 20 years of hands-on industry specific experience working in engineering design and manufacturing; developing innovative medical devices and healthcare systems, leading cross-functional teams and delivering successful New Product Development, quality and regulatory projects across a range of technologies.

Our history
"When I started my consulting practice in early 2017 with RED - Rowe Engineering & Developments, the business provided a broad range of technical and project management services.
Having experienced much success, during year five it became clear that the medical device consulting services were by far the most popular and ever increasing in demand, with new project clients and repeat business from returning customers.
Taking into consideration recent regulatory, political, and world events: the new EU and UK MDR - Medical Device Regulations, Brexit, UKCA, other changes in UK laws affecting businesses, and the global Coronavirus pandemic, there was a clear opportunity for growth and renewed focus.
Red Medtech was born in 2021 to serve that need."
